Zerodai, the work and automation platform for information security teams, is pleased to announce it is joining the Cyber Runway accelerator.
Backed by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport and delivered by Plexal in partnership with CyLon, Deloitte and CSIT (the Centre for Secure Information Technologies), Cyber Runway will be an intensive six-month programme.
Plexal is the innovation nerve centre of Here East, an initiative born out of the 2012 Olympic Games to enable creatives, universities and technology-led businesses to create and innovate together. Plexal is known for its hugely successful LORCA programme, that has seen 72 startups across 5 accelerators raise over £200m in investment and earn over £37m in revenue.
The Cyber Runway programme has been designed with inclusion at the heart, by partnering with organisations, investors and mentors from a range of backgrounds. 45% of Cyber Runway members are female-led startups and 52% are run by founders from black, ethnic or minority backgrounds.
“This is a golden age for the UK cyber startup ecosystem. Cyber startups are attracting record levels of investment and both the government and global tech giants are coming to British cyber companies to adopt emerging cyber technologies. The scale of Cyber Runway is testament to the enormous potential within the cyber startup community and will help stimulate the supply of innovative cyber solutions that will be needed by the economy and society.
Saj Huq, Director of Innovation at Plexal
Zerodai is on a mission to empower Information Security teams to work smarter and better support their business to thrive, securely. The Cyber Runway accelerator will provide access to a diverse pool of mentors, industry experts and investors that will help drive that vision forward.
Being part of the Cyber Runway accelerator and the cyber ecosystem at Plexal is a great opportunity for us to share knowledge and experience with an ambitious, diverse, nationwide community of cyber founders. Cyber Runway will provide opportunities for Zerodai to continue growing and realise its full potential.
